by preventing them from the driving seat at least for a few month. A new research found out that stroke survivors are likely to make crucial
mistakes during driving. They are more prone to get collision in driving test.

The study used 10 people who had mild ischemic stroke for driving test (This type of stroke prevent blood flow to the brain due to clot). They were found to commit more driving errors twice than normal healthy people.

The second study used patients who suffered subarachnoid haemorrhage(a more severe stroke which involves bleeding at the base of the brain). They were found to commit more driving errors than people who have not experienced stroke. They also have more tendency to drive off the road and difficulty in making left turns

Although haemorrhagic stroke prove to heal slowly, every patient who survives stroke should undergo evaluation before driving again

About 160,000 Nigerians suffer stroke annually. It is linked with excess alcohol drinking

  1. It’s alarming that stroke survivors are likely to make crucial mistakes during driving and they are more prone to collisions just like a DUI which can really affect your whole life. Importance of a competent DUI is paramount and he must be capable of putting up your stance to defend you correctly. We know how due to a good Los Angeles DUI lawyer my friend who blew reading of .08 was acquitted.
