Consider getting a new clothes and not being able to fit perfectly due to a protruding belly. This could be annoying and embarrassing. Are you ready to get your tummy in shape? They are quite simple tips that needs to be observed seriously.

1.Exercise and Abs Workout
Big tummy is mainly due to accumulation of fat. Exercise reduces our body fat and wastes thereby making us slimmer. Try push-ups and pull-ups, rope jumping and you burn an incredible
500 calories! Work on your abdominal region by performing crunches, leg raises, running and dancing. To perform the highly effective crunches:
Lie down on the floor with your hands on your side and you knees bent.
Keep your feet on the ground and sit up.

2.Eat three hours before you sleep
Many of us are fond of eating late into the night. This is not a healthy habit especially if you want to keep your body in shape. Our body gets slow at night instead of burning the food as energy, they store them as fat. This is not good for our body weight.

3. Lower Sodium Intake
To lower sodium, you have to avoid too much salt. It minimizes water retention thereby reducing the stomach. Use more of herbs and spices for your food. Sea salt is better than table salt. Soy sauce also bloat the stomach

4. Lower Alcohol Intake
I know this is probably one of the hardest tip to adhere to strictly. But if you really want to maintain your body shape, a minimal alcohol intake is required. Alcohol especially beer has a lot of calories. Estrogen released by the body after consuming alcohol can lead to a bloated tummy by causing the body to retain weight

5. Cultivate the Habit of Drinking Water
Such a wonderful gift to life! Water is very essential for our bowel movement thereby reducing accumulation of wastes. Urine output is improved. Note that your urine should be light yellow in colour. A dark yellow urine indicates that your body lacks water.

6. Cut Down Your Sugar Consumption
This is actually a tip I was lucky to be taught years ago by my high school teacher. Sugar are not so good for us. They have empty calories and increase our insulin levels. If you are a diabetic patient, you should know this. Those who consume less sugar have lesser insulin have more glucagon in their system. Glucagon as a hormone helps to increase glucose breakdown thereby giving us a better stomach

7. Reduce the Amount of Your Food Intake
Have you consumed so much quantity of food that you are barely able to move? You are given much work to your body. Eat little at a time. Make sure you chew the food well and eat low glycemic food. Such food are
different varieties of healthy fruits
Carrot, 
Cabbages, 
Apple, 
Banana, 
Onions
Pears, etc 
They are longer to digest therefore you do not feel hungry. Avoid much of junks like candy, chocolate bars and crisp
 Other healthy food for us are 'whole grain', avocado, fish oil and nuts. Avoid processed and packaged food,  they have a lot of trans fat which are not fat tummy friendly

8. Lower Your Level of Stress and Anxiety
How many hours do you rest in a day? Is your job taking its toll on you? Try to cut down stress because it leads to overproduction of cortisol thereby leading to increase in the belly area
